No More Mail — Here’s How to Check Your EJU Scores Online in 2025

EJU — Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, is one test you cannot ignore. It helps Japanese universities assess international applicants like you, especially for undergraduate programs.

In the past, students had to wait weeks to receive their EJU scores by mail. But in 2025, there’s a new update, your results will no longer be sent by post. All EJU scores will now be released online only, starting from 10 am Japan Standard Time (JST) on result day.

This article will guide you step-by-step on how to check your scores online and what to do next.

Why This Update Matters

For students in Africa, including Nigeria, this change is a big win. Here’s why:

• Faster access to results — No more waiting for international mail delivery

• Less risk — No chance of your result letter getting lost or delayed

• Better planning — You can prepare your university application faster

Whether you are applying for the April or October intake in Japan, getting your result on time is the first big step.

What to Do After You Check Your Scores

Once you have your result, here’s what to do next:
